One week on from the list release, we’re reflecting on how far RideTandem has come and what the future holds
The FT1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies is a list compiled by the Financial Times and Statista ranking the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe, based on compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2021 and 2024.
RideTandem have made the list for the second year in a row. This time, ranking #134 out of 1000. This achievement recognises the hard work of everyone at RideTandem, the loyalty of our clients, the support of our transport operators and the trust of our passengers.
Between 2021 and 2024, RideTandem…
- Made 1,000,000 passenger journeys
- Transported 12,000 passengers
- Enabled passengers to earn £50,000,000 in wages
- Offset 3,000 MT of CO2 emissions
What this means for RideTandem
RideTandem CEO, Alex Shapland-Howes shared his thoughts on the new ranking:
Lots of lists around but this is one we were super proud of last year and even more so to be featured for a second year running. Obviously these lists don't mean a great deal on their own, but it's a great chance to recognise so many people across the team past and present who put so much energy and care into supporting our customers and their passengers every day (and often throughout the night!). Great progress! Proud of the journey so far. Excited for coming year!”
The future of staff shuttle bus services
2025 was RideTandem’s biggest year yet, far outperforming our previous achievements. We launched school bus services, transporting students to and from school daily, and made continuous improvements to our Rider App and Client Hub, all while maintaining our NPS score of Excellent.
We’re proud to have had great success with our first year in the school transport space. We’re committed to providing exceptionally high-quality services to pupils and families. We’ve happily renewed our HMC Membership for 2026 and are looking forward to attending the ISBA Annual Conference in May.
