We’re delighted to announce that RideTandem has acquired StudentSafe, the education transport specialists.
StudentSafe runs transport for schools across the UK, getting students to and from school safely and on time every day. Like RideTandem, it provides a fully managed service, and for the same reason: these are journeys that simply can’t go wrong. A late or missing bus means staff not getting to work, or children not getting to school. That’s why both businesses take full responsibility for every journey. Both teams pride themselves on going the extra mile to get people where they need to be.
We’re very pleased to welcome the StudentSafe team to RideTandem, and we’re already learning a lot from each other.
What this means for customers and partners
StudentSafe will keep its name and continue to work exclusively with schools. Day to day, nothing changes for existing RideTandem or StudentSafe customers. You’ll be looked after by the same people you know today.
Over time, everyone we work with should feel the benefit of a larger organisation:
- Stronger operator partnerships: a bigger, more varied mix of work across commuting and education, and more of our operator partners able to work with both businesses
- Greater strength in depth across our live operations and account teams
- Shared know-how from two different corners of the transport world
- More investment in the technology that sits behind both services, for customers and operators alike
